Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to announce the signing of Jack Walker, who links up with the Bluebirds ahead of the 2026-27 season. The defender arrives at the Bridge Meadow Stadium having spent the last few years with Inverness Caledonian Thistle in Scotland. Jack progressed through the academy system at Inverness, and has also had loan spells with the likes of Forres Mechanics and Nairn County in recent times, as well as representing Buckie Thistle towards the end of last season.

Haverfordwest County AFC manager Tony Pennock said: “Jack comes to us after several years at Inverness CT. He has spent the last five weeks training full-time with us, and has done extremely well. “It’s never easy moving to a new club, never mind the distance involved in this instance. “Jack is another ambitious young player determined to succeed. He has shown the attributes needed to join our hybrid programme, and we all look forward to working with him this season.”
Speaking after signing for the club, Jack said: “I’m buzzing to be joining the club. There’s real ambition here, a great group of players and staff, and everyone has made me feel welcome. “I can’t wait to get started and play my part in what promises to be an exciting season.”
