Haverfordwest County AFC has appointed Harry Thomas to its first team coaching staff. Harry Thomas joins the team for the 2026-27 season, having previously worked as a coach in the Academy system and recently earning his UEFA A and Elite Youth A Licence.

What's the background?

Harry Thomas returned to Haverfordwest County AFC in July 2024 as Community Manager. He has since been awarded his UEFA A and Elite Youth A Licence after completing both courses with the Football Association of Wales.

What's the new role?

Harry Thomas will be involved in all first team matches throughout the season and play a key role in the team's new hybrid model. He will assist with training a selection of players on a full-time basis to aid their development.

Tony Pennock, the manager, added: “Having Harry work alongside myself and the rest of the staff is a big help to the hybrid model. He has worked extremely hard on gaining his A Licence and comes with plenty of coaching experience.”
