Haverfordwest County AFC is excited to announce that Iori Humphreys has agreed to a new one-year contract extension with the club. The talented defender recently reached a significant milestone, surpassing 100 appearances for Haverfordwest County AFC. Having progressed through the club's Academy system, Iori has established himself as a key player in the first team over the past five years. He made his debut in a Nathaniel MG Cup match against Undy Athletic in September 2021 and has been a consistent presence in the squad since then.

The 22-year-old has been part of Haverfordwest County AFC's European campaigns over the last three years, which included trips to North Macedonia, the Faroe Islands, and Malta. His leadership skills were evident when he captained the under-19s Development team, showcasing the successful pathway for young talent from Pembrokeshire to reach the highest levels of Welsh football. As he looks forward to the 2026-27 season, Iori aims to build on his impressive record of appearances.

Manager Tony Pennock expressed his satisfaction with the extension, stating, "Iori has been a valuable member of our squad and will be determined to continue to play a big part in its development in the forthcoming season. His consistent performances and reliability are crucial for our success moving forward." Iori himself shared his excitement about the new contract, saying, "I’m delighted to sign for another year with Haverfordwest County. This club has been a huge part of my life since I joined at nine years old, and it has always felt like home."
