Haverfordwest County AFC has announced Greenacres Animal Rescue as their Official Teamsheet Graphic Partner for the 2026-27 Novira Cymru Premier season. The club will use their matchday graphics to promote animals available for adoption, with the first advert appearing ahead of their home opener against Airbus UK Broughton on August 3, 2026. Currently sitting 14th in the league with 0 points from 1 game (0W-0D-1L), the Blues aim to make a difference both on and off the pitch this season.
Who is Greenacres Animal Rescue?
Founded in 2008, Greenacres is Pembrokeshire's only all-animal rescue centre, providing sanctuary to cats, dogs, equine, reptiles, and small animals. Based at Ebbs Acres Farm, just 20 minutes from Bridge Meadow Stadium, the organisation has a UK-wide reach and has likely been involved in adoptions linked to the club.
How will the partnership work?
Haverfordwest County will feature an adoptable animal in their pre-match teamsheet graphics, shared across Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and Bluesky. These posts reach tens of thousands, offering rescued animals greater visibility. The first graphic will debut ahead of the Airbus UK Broughton clash, with the Blues looking to bounce back from their opening-day loss.
Why this partnership matters
Evette Eardley from Greenacres said: "This initiative gives our rescue animals a greater chance of finding loving homes. We're excited to see the impact this partnership can make." The club hopes to leverage their platform to support local animal welfare while improving their own standing in the league, currently 3 points behind leaders Cardiff MET.
What's next for Haverfordwest County AFC?
After their home opener, the Blues will travel to face Ammanford AFC on October 30, 2026, with the hosts sitting 13th in the table. With 0 goals scored and 1 conceded so far, the team will look to turn their form around in the coming weeks.
