Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to announce that Hari Thomas has signed his first professional contract with the club. The striker arrived at the club last summer when he signed for the under-19s Development team, and it proved to be a successful season in front of goal for the youngster. Hari netted 25 goals in all competitions, with 23 of them coming in league action for the Development team as he enjoyed a prolific campaign. The 17-year-old was a regular in first team matchday squads throughout the JD Cymru Premier season, and he netted his first senior goal for the club against Briton Ferry Llansawel at the Ogi Bridge Meadow back in January. Manager Tony Pennock said Hari has shown lots of potential to be an excellent number nine. He's what I would call an old-fashioned striker; strong, powerful and athletic with it. Hari added that he's really happy to be signing a contract here at Haverfordwest and is looking forward to the coming season and the challenges ahead. The club's hybrid model, which will begin from next season, will enable a selection of players to train with the club on a full-time basis. Hari will be part of this model, which will give him the opportunity to work hard and achieve his goals. The club is pleased to have Hari on board and is excited to see his development in the coming season. With his first professional contract signed, Hari is ready to take his game to the next level. He will be an important player for the club in the upcoming season, and his signing is a great boost to the team. Hari's contract is a great opportunity for him to develop his skills and become a key player for the club.
