Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to announce that Jack Wilson has agreed a new one-year extension to his contract with the club. The forward, who can also operate at wing-back, recently returned to on-field action for the Bluebirds after over two years out following an ACL injury he sustained leading up to the 2024-25 season. Having already racked up 177 appearances for the club, Jack has been a crucial part of the first team setup during our time in the JD Cymru Premier to date. The 25-year-old played in all four legs of our UEFA Conference League qualifying adventure in the summer of 2023, converting from the spot in our penalty shoot-out win over FK Shkëndija at the Cardiff City Stadium. Jack has netted 26 goals in all competitions since the start of the 2020-21 campaign, and he can now look forward to another season with the Blues as we gear up to compete in the brand new 16-team JD Cymru Premier format in 2026-27. Manager Tony Pennock said: “After 750 days without playing, it was a huge achievement for Jack to play the part he did at the end of the season.” Jack added: “It was a long two years without playing, but to come back at the end of last season and get some good minutes was great. I’m happy to have signed for another year with Haverfordwest with the trust and support given to me from the club.” The club is now looking forward to the new season, with Jack Wilson set to play a key role. And with the trust and support of the club, Jack is eager to get back to his best. So, what can we expect from Jack Wilson in the upcoming season? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, he will give it his all. The club is delighted to have Jack on board for another season, and we are all excited to see what the future holds. Jack's contract extension is a big boost for the club, and we are looking forward to seeing him in action again. The new season is just around the corner, and Haverfordwest County AFC is ready to take on the challenge.
