Former Haverfordwest County AFC goalkeeper Matthew Turner has received a significant eight-point rating increase in the new EA FC 27 video game. The upgrade follows his appearances in the Cymru Premier for both Haverfordwest County and Aberystwyth Town.

Turner featured for Cardiff City last season, keeping clean sheets. His progress is now reflected in the global football simulation, which launched worldwide. While the Cymru Premier itself is not a playable league in this year's edition, the performances of its players are being recognised.

Lee Jenkins is another one of the biggest risers in the EA FC 27 ratings, with the defender making a six-point jump. Billy Kirkman and Max Cleworth, who plays for Wrexham, both saw their ratings increase.

There were mixed fortunes elsewhere. Ryan Hedges, who moved from Blackburn Rovers to Derby County and previously played for Flint Town United, saw his rating drop. Tom Bradshaw's rating decreased.

At the top of the standings, meanwhile, is Ben Cabango, who has edged up. The Swansea City defender remains the highest-rated Welsh player in the game. Several other players with Cymru Premier connections received modest boosts. Joe Thomas of Cambrian United and Thomas Davies both saw increases.

Josh Thomas at Fleetwood Town moved, while Jake Bickerstaff's rating rose after his move from Caernarfon Town to Cheltenham Town. Sam Finley's rating stays at Tranmere Rovers.

The recognition for former players comes as Haverfordwest County AFC build momentum in the real-world Cymru Premier. The Bluebirds sit in the table and are on a winning run. Their most recent result was a home victory over Holywell, secured by a Ben Ahmun goal.

That win followed a triumph over Briton Ferry, with goals from Dan Hawkins, Corey Shephard, and Ricky Abbruzzese. The squad, currently blending experience and youth, is detailed on our squad list.

Next up for Haverfordwest is a trip to face Ammanford AFC. The club will be looking to continue its improved form. For the latest league positions, check the standings.

Other players receiving their first EA FC ratings include James Crole, Isaac Lee, Ieuan Owen, Cole Jarvis, and Louis Lloyd. Lloyd, who scored goals for Caernarfon Town, made appearances in the Scottish Championship for St Johnstone last season and has featured in the Scottish Premiership this term.
